Hello there! By the way my name is KC Lenbert Aguelo but Ken for short.

I have been working as a Medical biller for atleast 5 years supporting different practices like;

Orthopaedics

Infusion

Mental And Behavioral

I worked with Healthcare Coding Integrity for atleast 5 years with them(July 2019 - November 2024)

During the duration that I stayed with them I supported Mental And Behavioral practice in their clinic. Processed calls from end to end billing and processing balance adjustment once payment was processed according to the patient benefits.

Here are list of my tasks with HCI

Outbound calls to Insurance carrier

End to end billing process

Balance adjustment of the patient profile once payment is made from the insurance carrier

Payment posting - payment review if payment was paid-to-pt or paid-to-prvdr, making sure to record the payments and process payment reversal if necessary

Requesting dispute or calling Third Party Negotiator to request for additional payment if the payment made was not in the range of the expected amount

Reprocessing claims if the applied benefits is not according to what we have on the system

I worked with MedRx Infusion Pharmacy for atleast 6 months (Part-Time Position | Late November 2024 - May 2025)

During the duration that I stay with them I was supporting the Infusion practice, focused on handling the aging claims that is already aged more than 90 days.

Here are list of my tasks with MedRx Infusion

Outbound calls to Insurance carrier

Processing Aging Claims

Reprocessing claims if the applied benefits is not according to what we have on the system

Requesting for the claims to be negotiated to the third-party negotiator if there are discrepancy with the payment processed on the patient account

Reviewing claims making sure the numbers of the prescribed medicines are matching on the insurance submitted claims.

I worked with Progressive Spine and Orthopaedics for atleast 8 months (Early April 2025 - Late August 2025)

You might be wondering that the dates are clashing when I was working part-time, here's the reason why I was able to work 2 jobs at the same time 1 part-time and one full-time my work with PSO starts at 8am EST till 5pm EST and my work with MedRx Infusion Starts at 6pm EST till 10pm EST there is no schedule conflict to make sure the quality of work will not

Contacting PIP Carriers to review claims if received

Processing Aging Claims

Requesting for EOB's once the payment are processed within or after 60 days as per rule in the state of New Jersey

Sending claims to arbitration for additional payment incase the payment received is not enough to close the patient account

Sending documents required by the PIP carriers that is not limited to Corrected Claim Submission, EOB's of the main and assistant surgeon, Original Claims of Main or Assistant Surgeon
